Conflict of Interest & Commercial Neutrality

Beshi Khushi is a sexual wellness and intimate care e-commerce platform for Bangladesh. We publish educational information to support safer, more informed choices. Because we also sell products, we manage conflicts of interest with strict separation between education and commerce, and we disclose commercial relationships clearly.

This policy explains how we identify, prevent, and disclose conflicts of interest across BeshiKhushi.com.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to anything that could influence—or appear to influence—what we publish or how we present information, including:

  • Guides, articles, safety notes
  • Condition/concern pages and decision-support content
  • Product listings, category pages, and “guided solutions” content
  • Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and promotions
  • Brand/supplier relationships, samples, and internal incentives
  • Reviews, moderation, and ranking/display logic (where relevant)

What a conflict of interest means here

A conflict of interest exists when a financial, commercial, or personal relationship could reasonably be seen as affecting:

  • the accuracy or completeness of health information,
  • the fairness of product visibility and comparisons, or
  • platform decisions that impact user trust and safety.

Conflicts can be real, potential, or perceived. We treat all three seriously.

Our non-negotiable principles

Editorial independence

  • Educational content is produced under our content standards and safety governance—not by sales targets, supplier demands, or campaign calendars.
  • Commercial neutrality in health information
  • We do not write health guidance to push a specific brand, product, or price point. If a product is mentioned, it is for context and safety awareness, not a medical endorsement.
  • Transparency
  • If money, partnerships, or incentives are involved, we label and disclose it in a way users can actually understand.

Separation between content and commerce

To protect integrity, we maintain operational separation:

  • Content decisions (what we cover, how we explain risks, what we update) are made under our Editorial Process and Health Content Policy.
  • Sales/marketing teams do not approve, rewrite, or block medical/safety content.
  • Product availability, margin, or supplier pressure does not determine whether a topic is covered—or how it is explained.

Where appropriate, we also use a “two-step” review: content quality/safety review first, commercial placement decisions second.

Product mentions, recommendations, and safety context

When products appear inside educational content:

  • Mentions are for example, comparison, or safety context only.
  • We do not guarantee outcomes or claim “this will work for you.”
  • We do not replace professional care. For medical decisions, users should consult a qualified clinician.

Our stance is simple: education helps you understand options; it does not prescribe one.

Advertising, sponsorships, affiliates, and paid placements

Beshi Khushi may run ads or enter commercial partnerships to support operations. If we do:

  • Sponsored or paid content is clearly labeled (e.g., “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” “Paid Partnership”).
  • Paid placements do not change the medical accuracy standards for surrounding content.
  • If affiliate links exist, we disclose that we may earn a commission—without increasing the price you pay.

If there is ever a tension between revenue and safety clarity, safety wins.

Free products, samples, and supplier influence

We may receive product samples for evaluation, photography, or quality checks. When this happens:

  • Receiving a sample does not guarantee positive coverage, increased ranking, or favourable language.
  • Any material relationship that could shape perception is disclosed where relevant.

(See: Why You Can Trust Beshi Khushi and Product Authenticity & Verification where applicable.)

Reviewer, contributor, and staff independence

People involved in content, review, and governance are expected to:

  • Disclose relevant interests (financial ties, brand relationships, outside work),
  • Avoid reviewing content where they have a direct conflict, and
  • Follow our governance standards for sensitive sexual wellness topics.

Content decisions are made under organization-level governance, not individual incentives.

User reviews and ratings: no pay-to-praise

User reviews reflect personal experiences and opinions. We do not:

  • Pay for positive reviews,
  • Hide negative reviews to protect sales, or
  • Remove criticism simply because it is commercially inconvenient.

We do moderate reviews for safety and policy reasons (spam, abuse, explicit personal data, unlawful claims, harassment), using consistent rules.

For more details about how reviews are collected, moderated, and displayed, see our User Reviews Policy.

Reporting concerns

If you believe a conflict of interest wasn’t properly disclosed or managed, you can report it.

We review concerns through our corrections workflow and, where needed, update content or disclosures.

Our Corrections & Feedback Policy explains how we review concerns, update information, and make corrections when needed.

Policy governance

This policy is maintained under Beshi Khushi’s Trust & Safety governance system and reviewed periodically to keep it accurate and appropriate for sensitive sexual wellness topics in Bangladesh. We may update it when our product standards change, or when customer feedback shows something could be clearer, following our Editorial Process
