Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains which payment methods Beshi Khushi accepts, how payments are processed, when payment is required (including pre-orders), and the safeguards used to keep transactions secure and private for customers in Bangladesh.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all payments made through Beshi Khushi for products or services, including:

  • ready-stock orders
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders
  • pre-orders
  • advance / partial payments
  • Refund-related payment

Accepted Payment Methods

Available payment methods depend on product type, delivery zone, and operational limits shown at checkout.
Beshi Khushi offer:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — available only for selected ready-stock items and eligible delivery zones shown at checkout
  • Mobile Financial Services (MFS) — bKash, Nagad, Rocket
  • Cards / Online Payments — via authorized payment gateways (local gateway partners)

 

Pricing, Currency & Checkout Disclosure

• All prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise.

• Delivery fees, discounts, and any applicable charges are displayed before order placement.

Payment Timing

Payment timing is determined by order type:

Ready-stock orders
• Online payment: collected at checkout
• COD: collected at delivery by the delivery partner

Pre-orders
• Advance payment is required to confirm the order
• Any remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid before dispatch or as shown at checkout/confirmation

Pre-Orders & Advance Payment Terms

Pre-orders require reservation and planned fulfillment.

Advance requirement
• A minimum advance payment (typically 50%) is required for pre-orders unless checkout specifies a different requirement (including full advance payment for certain items).
• The required amount is displayed at checkout.

Delivery estimate
• Estimated delivery timelines are shown at checkout and in your confirmation.
• Where a general benchmark is needed, pre-orders are typically fulfilled within up to 20 business days after confirmation, depending on supplier and logistics conditions.

Confirmation standard
A pre-order is confirmed only after payment is received and your order confirmation is issued with invoice/order reference details.

Payment Processing & Authorization

• Payments are processed through authorized payment service providers.
• For card payments, processing occurs via providers using PCI DSS-aligned security controls.

• Payment confirmation is required before an order is processed, except where COD is selected.

Failed, Declined, or Incomplete Payments

A transaction may fail due to insufficient funds, OTP issues, authorization errors, gateway timeouts, or provider downtime.

If a payment fails:
• the order may remain unconfirmed, and
• you may need to retry or choose another payment method.

Discreet Billing & Privacy
Beshi Khushi treats privacy as a core expectation for this category.
• We aim to keep billing communication discreet.
• Your bank/MFS provider or gateway may display transaction descriptors in their own format; descriptor formats are controlled by providers.
• Payment-related personal data is handled under Privacy & Data Protection.

If money is deducted but the order is not confirmed, contact support with the transaction reference so we can verify the payment with the relevant payment gateway, bank, or mobile financial service provider. 

Payment Security & Fraud Prevention

Beshi Khushi applies reasonable technical and operational safeguards to reduce fraud and protect payment activity, including:
• encrypted checkout connections where applicable
• access controls for payment-related records
• monitoring for suspicious transaction patterns
• additional verification for high-risk orders when needed

We may request verification for certain orders (e.g., high-value orders, repeated failures, suspicious patterns). If verification cannot be completed, the order may be cancelled for safety.
Security issues should be reported via Security Disclosure.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If a cardholder files a dispute/chargeback, Beshi Khushi cooperates with the payment provider’s investigation and may use order and delivery records to respond. This helps protect genuine customers and reduce fraud.

Refund Method & Payment Reversals

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible, subject to provider capability and compliance controls. Refund eligibility and conditions are governed by the Return & Refund Policy

Record Retention

Transaction records may be retained for a limited period to support accounting, audit, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal/regulatory obligations. Sensitive payment credentials (such as CVV) are not retained by Beshi Khushi.
